TeAuto를 실행하면 로그인 화면이 나옵니다. "새 계정 만들기"로 회원가입하거나 기존 계정으로 로그인합니다.Open TeAuto — the login screen will appear. Tap "Create new account" to register, or sign in with an existing account.

설정 → 휴대폰 정보 → 소프트웨어 정보 → 빌드 번호를 7번 연속으로 탭하면 개발자 옵션이 활성화됩니다.Settings → About Phone → Software Info → tap Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
설정 → 개발자 옵션 → 무선 디버깅을 ON으로 바꿉니다. (Android 11 이상 필수)
※ 무선 디버깅은 Wi-Fi에 연결되어 있어야 켤 수 있습니다. 핫스팟만 켜진 상태에서는 활성화되지 않으므로, 아무 Wi-Fi(집·사무실 Wi-Fi 등)에 한 번 연결한 뒤 켜주세요.
Android 12 이상은 무선 디버깅 화면 안의 "이 네트워크에서 자동 연결"을 켜두면 같은 네트워크에 연결될 때마다 자동으로 켜집니다 (권장).Settings → Developer Options → toggle Wireless Debugging ON. (Android 11+ required)
※ Wireless Debugging only turns on while the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. A hotspot alone is not enough — connect to any Wi-Fi (home, office, etc.) first, then enable it.
On Android 12+, enable "Auto-connect on this network" inside the Wireless Debugging screen so it turns on automatically whenever you join the same network (recommended).
앱에서 "ADB 최초 설정" 화면이 나오면 "ADB 페어링 시작" 버튼을 탭합니다. 알림 권한을 허용하면 상단에 알림이 뜹니다.
그동안 자동으로 열린 개발자 옵션의 "페어링 코드로 기기 페어링"을 탭해 6자리 코드를 확인하고, 알림창을 내려 "코드 입력"에 입력하세요. 문자 답장처럼 알림창에서 바로 입력합니다.In the app, tap "Start ADB Pairing" on the "ADB Setup" screen. Allow the notification permission — a heads-up notification appears.
Developer Options opens automatically; tap "Pair device with pairing code", read the 6-digit code, then pull down the notification shade and type the code into "Enter code" — exactly like replying to a text message.
운전 중 사용 금지에 관한 안전 경고가 표시됩니다. 내용을 확인하고 "동의합니다"를 탭하면 설치가 완료됩니다.A safety warning about not using while driving will appear. Read it and tap "I Agree" to finish setup.

차량 USB·무선 충전에 폰을 연결하면 스트리밍이 자동으로 시작됩니다. 운행 시작과 동시에 화면이 뜨길 원할 때 권장.Streaming auto-starts when you plug into the car's USB / wireless pad. Recommended if you want the Tesla screen up the moment you sit down.
차에서 내릴 때(케이블 분리) 자동으로 스트리밍이 종료됩니다. 일일이 정지 누르기 귀찮을 때.Streaming auto-stops when the cable is unplugged (i.e. you got out of the car). Saves you tapping Stop manually.
기본 ON. 켜두면 Tesla가 핫스팟을 통해 지도 타일·OTA 업데이트·텔레메트리를 받지 못해 모바일 데이터를 크게 아낍니다. 스트리밍 자체는 영향 없음.ON by default. Blocks Tesla from pulling map tiles, OTA updates, and telemetry through your hotspot — big mobile-data savings. Streaming itself is unaffected.

TeAuto는 Android의 VirtualDisplay와 InputManager를 사용해 화면을 캡처하고 터치를 주입합니다. 이 기능은 shell 권한이 필요한데, Android의 무선 디버깅(Wireless Debugging)이 정확히 그 권한을 안전하게 제공합니다. TeAuto는 자기 자신에게 무선 디버깅으로 연결해서 그 권한을 빌립니다.TeAuto uses Android's VirtualDisplay and InputManager to capture the screen and inject touch events. These require shell privileges, which Android's Wireless Debugging grants safely. TeAuto pairs to the phone's own wireless ADB daemon to borrow that permission.
